Summary

Hamilton Kent is seeking a Heavy Gasket Operator to join our this role you will play a key part in producing high-quality gaskets used in critical infrastructure projects. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will help ensure reliable products that make a difference in communities. Splicing is the production process that uses heated moulds to join precut rubber strips into circular gaskets. This role is essential to ensuring safe consistent and highquality gasket production for our operations.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 7:00am - 3:00pm (Morning shift)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment and ensure mould temperatures meet required settings.
• Inspect rubber strips and materials for quality before production.
• Operate splicing equipment load materials and complete the splicing process.
• Perform visual inspections of finished gaskets and identify any defects.
• Package completed gaskets accurately and verify correct quantities.
• Record production information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a safe clean and organized work area.
• Support additional duties as needed to meet production and quality targets.
• Follow all company policies procedures and safety standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to read write and communicate in English
• Ability to use or be trained to use various measuring tools used in gasket manufacturing
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Ability to handle items up to 25lbs without restriction
• Willingness to learn new processes and operate equipment safely and correctly
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
