Reports To: Director Human ResourcesLocation: Calgary McTavish OfficeWork Schedule: Monday-Friday 40 hours/weekTerm: Approximately 15 monthsClosing Date: March 16 2026The big picture:Have your career take off with us! As a Dayforce HRIS Analyst in our Human Resources Department you will play a key role in managing and optimizing our Human Resources Information System (Dayforce) to support our growing company. You will act as the technical expert for our HR and payroll systems ensuring data integrity compliance reporting accuracy and seamless integrations across thrive on solving complex problems improving processes and working collaboratively across teams. You are analytical detail-oriented and service-focused and you enthusiastically demonstrate AirSprints Core Values in everything you this role you will:Administer and maintain our HRIS including system configuration updates enhancements and user accessServe as the Dayforce subject matter expert supporting Core HR Payroll & Benefits Workforce Management Reporting Onboarding Recruiting and Learning modulesLead system upgrades enhancements testing and deployments with minimal operational disruptionTroubleshoot and resolve HRIS-related issuesConduct regular data audits to ensure data integrity compliance and accuracyDevelop and maintain standard and ad-hoc reports to support HR Payroll Finance and leadership decision-makingAutomate reporting processes and improve data accessibility for stakeholdersMaintain user security roles permissions and system governance standardsCollaborate with HR payroll accounting IT and third-party vendors to ensure successful system integrations and data transfersIdentify opportunities for system optimization and continuous process improvementSupport payroll-related initiatives to ensure accuracy timeliness and service qualityDevelop training materials and provide ongoing support to department members and system usersMaintain comprehensive documentation of HRIS processes workflows and configurationsTo be successful in this role you will have:Undergraduate degree in Human Resources Information Systems Business Administration Computer Science or a related fieldMinimum of three (3) years of experience in a Dayforce HRIS-focused roleProven working knowledge and hands-on configuration experience with DayforceStrong understanding of HR processes including payroll onboarding performance management and complianceExperience with HR system integrations workflows and data reportingIntermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook Excel Word)Strong analytical problem-solving and organizational skillsAbility to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersBonus points if you have:Experience supporting payroll processing or payroll-related system functionsExperience participating in HRIS implementations or acquisitionsAviation industry experienceHR generalist or payroll processing experienceYoull fit right in if you:Willingly step up and take ownership of system improvementsSeek and provide constructive feedback and are committed to continuous learningAre a humble team player who is ready to support where neededCommunicate effectively in English both verbally and in writingAre passionate about providing exceptional internal customer serviceThrive in a fast-paced agile environmentHave strong analytical thinking and attention to detailFocus on accuracy and getting things right the first timeWe think youll like working with us because:We care about your health and well-being and offer an employee assistance program extended health care benefits dental and vision benefits and paid time value your contribution to our success and provide a competitive salary and an RRSP matching have a great team and we work hard together toward common goals and with a passion for offer family and friends flight respect honour and celebrate the diversity of our employees as we know our differences make us better.
