Position Overview
The Pricing Analyst is responsible for supporting pricing strategy development analysing market trends making competitive and data-driven pricing recommendations and monitoring compliance with contract terms. This role will focus on optimizing pricing models reviewing current pricing systems and making recommendations for technical and process improvements tracking key pricing and contracts metrics and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between pricing strategies and business objectives. The Pricing Analyst will play a key role in forecasting revenue impact maintaining pricing and contract databases and improving overall pricing efficiency.
Essential Job Functions
Provide pricing support by analysing competitive data reimbursement trends and pricing strategies.
Develop and maintain pricing and contract dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for pricing and revenue optimization.
Collaborate with the Sales Strategic Accounts Finance and Market Access teams to align data-driven pricing insights with strategic business objectives.
Support pricing governance by ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Assist in developing market segmentation and pricing models to enhance revenue growth.
Conduct reimbursement and contract analysis to assess compliance with contract terms and to assess trends and support pricing decisions.
Work with IT and Business Intelligence teams to improve pricing data integration and reporting automation.
Conduct competitor and market analysis to provide insights into industry pricing trends.
Support pricing strategy formulation by analyzing pricing elasticity profitability and customer pricing preferences.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting by analyzing pricing impact and revenue projections.
Maintain a pricing database and tracker to monitor and report on pricing initiatives and contract performance.
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and company standards for pricing analytics.
This role is fully remote. Travel up to 20% may be required for business meetings conferences and team collaboration.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business Finance Economics Data Science or a related field or equivalent experience
2 years of experience in pricing analysis financial modeling or commercial operations preferably within Medical Device MedTech or Pharmaceutical industries
Strong analytical skills with handson experience in pricing analytics data visualization and reporting automation
Proficiency in data analysis tools and ERP/CRM systems (e.g. SAP Salesforce Power BI Tableau Looker)
Experience using SQL Excel or other data querying tools for analysis
Solid understanding of pricing strategies and contract pricing models
Strong communication and problemsolving skills with the ability to present insights to crossfunctional stakeholders
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with Sales Finance and Market Access teams
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with valuebased pricing models and risksharing agreements
Familiarity with contract compliance analysis and reporting
Experience with pricing automation tools and AIdriven pricing optimization
Handson experience with pricing systems making technical process improvement recommendations and supporting system implementation efforts
