Job Summary
Required Skills:
Candidate must be located within commuting distance or willing to relocate to Richardson TX. This position mayrequire travel in the US.
Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three year of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
At least 4 years of experience in network support Trouble shooting and field services
Hands on experience with resolving network outages performance degradation and connectivity issues.
Strong experience on routers switches firewalls access points modems and edge network equipment.
Troubleshoot LAN/WAN issues including routing failures VLAN misconfigurations Wi-Fi interference and cablingfaults.
Conduct packet-level analysis using tools such as Wireshark TCPdump or SolarWinds (as applicable).
Support VoIP and video conferencing network connectivity issues.
SD-WAN management configuration and troubleshooting WAN networks.
Installation of network devices including modems routers wireless access points(WAP) load balancer.
Tools:
analyzers: Wireshark SolarWinds.
: cable testers crimping tools OTDR/fiber testers.
systems: ServiceNow.
Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa
Preferred skills:
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and customer handling abilities.
Ability to work independently in remote environments.
Time-management and prioritization ability under high-pressure conditions.
Certifications preferred but not mandatory: CCNA CCNP JNCIA CompTIA Network Aruba ACMA/ACMP.
Ability to travel extensively (up to 50% based on requirement).
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
