Accounts Payable Specialist (Korean Speaking), FinOps

Job Requirement:
- Report to office in Pasay City 5x a week (8am - 5pm shift)

Amazon (Philippines) Finance Operations department seeks a bright articulated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Financial Specialist to play the important role in Accounts Payable Financial Operations Team in Manila Philippines. This is a AP Specialist (Korean Speaking) position which will focus on Accounts Payable with a strong emphasis on paying suppliers on time and all related activities in order to achieve this mission. Furthermore this position will also support process improvement controller-ship policies and procedures.

Key job responsibilities
Process invoices submitted by Amazon corporate vendors using internal financial systems ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedure
Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies by coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders identifying root causes and implementing long-term solutions
Monitor analyze and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and invoice processing metrics to management providing insights to support data-driven decision-making
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by actively participating in Operational Excellence programs including Kaizen events and Green Belt projects aimed at enhancing efficiency accuracy and scalability of financial operations

A day in the life
Please take note that this role requires the successful candidate to report onsite at Pasay City and will be working on a day shift schedule (8AM to 5PM)

This position manually processes invoices for Corp critical vendors across different countries under APAC region () in PHL site as recovery site for BCP T0 process-Critical Vendor Invoice Processing.

- Bachelors degree holder
- At least 1 year of experience with a finance background
- Fluent in both written and spoken business English and Korean
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong internal and external customer focus with a work ethic driven by exceeding expectations
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to deep dive while maintaining a big-picture perspective
- Proven ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple competing priorities
