As a Security Officer - Dispatch in Jacksonville FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a government transportation location you will support daily operations by monitoring cameras and alarms coordinating security-related responses over radio and phone tracking activities and documenting incidents. You will be a visible trusted point of contact for riders and staff helping to deter unwanted activity through clear communication and quick coordination. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Operate dispatch functions by monitoring radios alarms and/or video systems prioritizing calls for service and coordinating the response of on-site personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner gathering key details relaying information to appropriate parties and documenting actions taken.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of incidents dispatch activity access events and unusual conditions in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter as assigned noting and reporting conditions that may help to deter unwanted activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
