Job Summary

Texas Coalition for Animal Protection(TCAP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established to end animal overpopulation and improve community animal welfare by providing low-cost preventive veterinary services throughout North Texas. We operate high-volume clinics that serve thousands of pets each year. Our work is fast-paced mission-driven and deeply impactful.

We are seeking a mission and business drivenClinic Managerwho can lead daily operations while ensuring the financial sustainability of our services. This role is responsible for managing revenue streams monitoring financial performance improving efficiency and maintaining a positive team culture and ensuring a high standard of patient and client care.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Development

Full oversight of day-to-day clinic operations

Trains coaches and develops clinic staff

Addresses performance concerns promptly fairly and consistently

Creates a culture of accountability teamwork and respect

Ensures policies and procedures are consistently followed

Leads by example in professionalism work ethic and ethical conduct

Facilitates and supports the professional growth of team members

Client Service and Community Impact

Ensures staff follow TCAP client service standards

Oversees client flow to ensure patient are treated professionally safely and efficiently

Handles escalated client concerns with professionalism and empathy

Communicates surgical results observations and follow-up care instructions to pet owners

Maintains facility readiness and inventory oversight

Financial & Administrative Oversight

Ensures budgeted clinic goals are achieved

Manages controllable costs and meets financial objectives

Monitors productivity and operational metrics

Communicates regularly with Administration and fellow Clinic Managers regarding clinic performance and staffing

Reviews daily paperwork medical records and payment accuracy

Will be required to travel to other locations to lead other clinics and attend meetings as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 5 years of veterinary clinic experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Supervisory or leadership experience required
  • Strong understanding of veterinary medical concepts including vaccine protocols and anesthetic risks
  • Knowledge of animal behavior and safe animal restraint
  • Ability to administer vaccines and draw blood
  • Comfortable leading in emergency and high-pressure situations
  • Experience managing schedules documentation and operational metrics preferred
  • Knowledge of financial management and budgeting.
  • Understands that in a nonprofit environment revenue is not about profit it is about sustaining and growing the mission
