Job Summary

Royal Coach Lines LLC

The Operations Manager oversees our organizational processes and ensures daily tasks by the drivers and other members of the operations teams are met. Their main duties include managing daily operations assisting with the hiring process of new employees implementing policies and strategies to improve productivity and efficiency levels and building an enjoyable company culture.

Responsibility Profile:

  • Manage daily and long-term planning to create initiatives that further the companys overall goals.

  • Coordinate different teams to foster exchange of ideas and provide cross-team learning opportunities.

  • Assess and analyze departmental budgets to find ways to minimize expenses and optimize profits.

  • Inspire and motivate employees to perform at their best through positive encouragement and incentive initiatives.

  • Communicate with senior officials about shifting company priorities and projects.

  • Identify potential problems and points of friction and work to find solutions to maximize efficiency and revenue.

  • Identify opportunities to expand or shift course to take advantage of changes in the market.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Three (3) years of transportation management experience.

  • One (1) year of supervisory experience.

  • High school diploma.

Founded in 1950 Royal Coach serves the Westchester County New York community with paratransit school bus and special education services. Seven years after being founded Beniamino DiPaolo acquired the company and relocated Royal Coach to Yonkers. The company has grown to being one of the largest school contractors in Westchester County with longstanding working relationships of over 40 years with the city of Yonkers the Greenwich Japanese School and the Westchester County Department of Health.
