Muskegon Recovery Center provides medication-assisted treatment (including methadone and Suboxone) for patients who have opiate addictions. The LPN Dosing Nurse dispenses medication to our patients primarily in the methadone treatment program monitoring health status documenting nursing notes communicating with the Medical Director and participating as part of the overall treatment team. This is a Part-time position (21-24 hours/3 days per week) working between 6 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday with a rotation of 6 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. every other Saturday.
OVERVIEW OF POSITION:
As an integral member of the healthcare team the LPN provides direct and indirect nursing care to patients as delegated by a Registered Nurse or provider.
The LPN must adhere to organizational Policies Procedures the Code of Ethics and all licensing and accreditation standards for the position. The LPN is expected to represent the organizations Mission in all actions and communications.

EXPERIENCE:
One year of experience as an LPN with ambulatory care experience preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
