Job Description:

UF Information Technology (UFIT) is currently seeking a talented and highly motivated part-time Microsoft 365 Administrator Intern to join Infrastructure and Communication Technology a unit within UFIT for the May 18 2026 April 21 2027 semesters. This one-year paid internship is designed to provide students currently enrolled in college an opportunity to learn practical skills and gain experience to propel them into a successful career in Information Technology.

Employment with UFIT provides an excellent opportunity to work with other dedicated employees focused on understanding and interpreting the technological needs of the University of Floridas innovative and inspirational community.

This Microsoft 365 Administrator Intern will join our team administering the Microsoft 365 platform (including Exchange Online OneDrive Teams SharePoint) in a fast-paced customer-focused production support and development environment. These environments run in a LEED certified data center housing several thousand servers and petabytes of storage. A competitive candidate will demonstrate technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new technologies assess and provide technical solutions be organized have good communication and the ability to adapt to a changing work environment to meet the needs of the UF community.

This position is part of the ICT Collaboration Platforms Services team which is responsible for administering the Microsoft 365 platform (including Exchange Online OneDrive Teams SharePoint) to the UF community. This position is primarily focused on administering the Microsoft 365 cloud-based applications and services. The incumbent will work collaboratively with a team of experienced administrators on the delivery of services and provide excellent customer service to the UF community.
