What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access for employees visitors vendors and/or contractors including verifying identification issuing temporary credentials as directed and documenting entries and exits.
• Monitor docks yards and/or trailer areas for unusual activity assist with checking shipment paperwork as directed and report discrepancies damaged property and/or unsecured doors or gates.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting site contacts and/or emergency services when required and completing detailed incident reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• XRay Screening Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
