As a front-end engineer you will/may:
Use technology to solve user interface and UX problems
Transform defined software and UX design into code and deliver it on schedule using languages libraries and rendering technologies (e.g. JavaScript HTML CSS Java Objective C)
Retrieve data from existing sources using appropriate technologies for your platform and use cases
Work backwards from the customer and collaborate with Product and Design to iterate on the best possible user experience
Key job responsibilities
Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive design and bring innovative products and services to market.
Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.
Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed.
Build distributed storage index and query systems that are scalable fault-tolerant low cost and easy to manage/use.
Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about creating new products features and services from scratch while managing ambiguity and the pace of a company where development cycles are measured in weeks not year
- 2 years of non-internship professional front end web or mobile software development using JavaScript HTML and CSS experience
- 1 years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design data structures algorithm design problem solving and complexity analysis) experience
- Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react
- 1 years of agile software development methodology experience
- Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML CSS JS TypeScript and Node

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
