DoubleTree by Hilton Downtown South Bend is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to lead our Public Areas and Facilities team. This position plays a key role in ensuring that our hotels lobby restaurants guest common areas pool fitness center and employee spaces remain clean safe and welcoming for guests and team members.

As the Facilities Supervisor you will oversee the cleanliness and upkeep of all public spaces while leading the Facilities and Public Area Attendant team.
Responsibilities include:
Supervise schedule and train Public Area and Facilities Attendants
Inspect hotel public spaces to ensure Hilton brand cleanliness and presentation standards are met
Coordinate daily with Housekeeping Engineering Front Desk and Food & Beverage teams
Maintain public spaces including:
Lobby and Atrium
Corridors and hotel entrances
Restaurants lounges and Starbucks seating areas
Fitness center and equipment
Pool deck and pool area restrooms
Public and employee restrooms
Employee hallways and back-of-house areas
Parking garage and exterior entrances
Oversee deep cleaning programs including:
Carpet extraction
Floor care and polishing
Pressure washing
High dusting and seasonal projects
Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment inventory
Ensure team follows all OSHA safety standards and chemical handling procedures
Address guest service concerns related to cleanliness and facility presentation
Maintain inspection logs safety documentation and cleaning reports
Preferred candidates will have:
24 years of experience in hotel facilities custodial operations or building maintenance
Supervisory experience preferred
Knowledge of hotel brand cleanliness standards (Hilton or Marriott preferred)
Pool operations experience or Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally
Standing walking bending and climbing ladders throughout the shift
Ability to operate commercial cleaning equipment safely
Hospitality is a 24/7 industry and this role requires flexibility.
