Job Summary
The International Strategy and Operations Intern position is a part of our Roblox 12-week summer internship program located in San Mateo CA. You will work alongside the International team to drive key initiatives aimed at driving international business growth and optimizing processes across our markets.
You Will:
- Market Compliance: Conduct initial research on local market regulations and compliance requirements to support the teams ongoing efforts.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate communication and coordination between the International Strategy & Operations team and various functional teams (e.g. Policy Legal Finance etc..) to ensure alignment on regional priorities.
- Support Strategic Expansion: Assist in researching and analyzing international markets identifying regulatory consideration growth opportunities competitive trends and customer insights.
- Operational Support: Help track organize and report on key operational metrics to assess the success of strategic initiatives.
- Process Improvement: Assist in documenting and streamlining regional planning frameworks and operational procedures to support scalability.
You Have:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters program preferably in Business Administration International Business International Relations Economics or a related field.
- Strong academic record and a proven interest in international business and strategy.
- Excellent analytical organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using SQL Python R or other coding languages to conduct data analysis.
- Proficiency in data analysis and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive results-oriented attitude and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with an international market with local language fluency.
