We are seeking highly motivated security personnel for positions within a physical security environment specializing in the protection of a Construction site for a Data Centre.
Position Overview:
Wages: $18.00/hr (depending on site)
Status: On Call
Shift timings: Varies (Days Afternoons)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- De-escalate tense situations by verbal communication using a variety of techniques designed to reduce risk.
- Respond to medical emergencies and be prepared to perform CPR and AED if needed.
- Operate gates at gatehouse locations screening all visitors.
- Perform foot patrols inside and outside in all weather conditions.
- Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Ontario Security License
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
- 1 year of security experience minimum within large scale security operations is preferred.
- Thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures including emergency response.
- G or G2 class drivers license with your own vehicle is required to travel to sites.
- Customer service experience is a strong asset.
