KCR Solutions are delighted to be working for an excellent client in Cramlington in their recruitment of a Finance Manager who will take full responsibility for the finance function. Your duties will be as follows:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Production of the monthly MI pack with clear commentary
- Maintenance and improvement of financial controls and processes
- Oversight of the part-time Accounts Assistant (PL SL and cashbook)
- Preparation of the annual budget periodic reforecasts and cashflow analysis and forecasts.
- Management of Payroll VAT and tax submissions
- Liaison with external accountants for the preparation of Statutory Accounts
- Continual review and improvement of processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Supporting the business with cost saving activities
- Liaising with the management team on all financial matters
- Supporting the wider business with financial insight and ad-hoc analysis
- Operating as the go-to finance professional across a busy manufacturing site
You will be a QBE or part-qualified accountant with solid SME experience and be happy taking ownership of all finance activities in a small team environment. Manufacturing experience would be beneficial although not essential.
