Job Summary

KCR Solutions are delighted to be working for an excellent client in Cramlington in their recruitment of a Finance Manager who will take full responsibility for the finance function. Your duties will be as follows:

Preparation of monthly management accounts
Production of the monthly MI pack with clear commentary
Maintenance and improvement of financial controls and processes
Oversight of the part-time Accounts Assistant (PL SL and cashbook)
Preparation of the annual budget periodic reforecasts and cashflow analysis and forecasts.
Management of Payroll VAT and tax submissions
Liaison with external accountants for the preparation of Statutory Accounts
Continual review and improvement of processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Supporting the business with cost saving activities
Liaising with the management team on all financial matters
Supporting the wider business with financial insight and ad-hoc analysis
Operating as the go-to finance professional across a busy manufacturing site

You will be a QBE or part-qualified accountant with solid SME experience and be happy taking ownership of all finance activities in a small team environment. Manufacturing experience would be beneficial although not essential.
