About the role
Were hiring a CMDB Product Manager to own and evolve a complex ServiceNow CMDB capability within a large enterprise IT Service Management environment. You will work with engineering platform security risk and operations teams to improve CMDB quality governance adoption and value across technology services.
This role suits someone who can combine deep ServiceNow CMDB expertise with strong product ownership data governance and stakeholder leadership.
What youll do
Own the CMDB product strategy roadmap and outcomes (OKRs backlog prioritisation release planning).
Lead cross-functional delivery across internal squads and vendor partners.
Define and improve CMDB operating model process and governance in line with enterprise standards and regulatory needs.
Drive data quality critical data elements lineage attestations and automated controls monitoring.
Build and publish MI and performance reporting to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Create and maintain clear process documentation to ensure repeatable service delivery.
Deliver training and enablement for teams adopting new CMDB processes and standards.
Identify manage and escalate risk and control issues related to technology standards and service processes.
What were looking for (must-have)
Strong ServiceNow CMDB expertise including CSDM ITOM Discovery and IRE policy design.
Proven Agile product ownership running backlogs and release planning and leading delivery across multiple teams.
Strong data governance and quality management including controls attestations compliance monitoring and MI/reporting.
Nice to have
CMDB integration with ITAM / SAM / HAM.
Exposure to Change Vulnerability or Identity and Access Management (IAM) processes.
Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture role-based access control (RBAC) and alignment to a Technology Reference Model (TRM) or equivalent standards.
What success looks like
CMDB data quality improves measurably and stays controlled.
CSDM alignment is practical and adopted not theoretical.
Discovery and IRE are tuned to reduce duplicates and improve trust in the data.
Stakeholders use CMDB insights for change risk and service decisions.
Governance and reporting are clear lightweight and auditable.
Working model
Hybrid working with structured onsite anchor days set by the business area. Flexible working requests will be considered based on role and team needs.
