Technical Product Owner

We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Owner Meter Health to join our MAP Operations this role you will act as the primary representative for the Meter Health product owning its vision roadmap and delivery.

You will work closely with technology data and operational teams to shape and deliver solutions that support future metering use cases and align with the companys wider strategic objectives. This is a key role for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of business technology and regulated operational environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and define the Meter Health product vision roadmap and backlog in line with company strategy
• Translate business needs into clear actionable technical requirements including epics features and user stories
• Act as the voice of the business and operational users throughout the product lifecycle
• Lead and participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning stand-ups and retrospectives
• Collaborate closely with software data and IT teams to support delivery and remove blockers
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to ensure products remain competitive and futurefocused
• Manage SaaS documentation release activity and rollout planning
• Lead quality assurance and testing strategies for software development
• Oversee implementation activities including training sessions product demos and support materials
• Ensure solutions meet company quality standards regulatory requirements and data protection obligations
• Identify and manage product risks performing tradeoff analysis where required
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders external partners and industry bodies
• Stay informed on smart metering technology regulatory updates and industry trends

About You

You will be a confident and technically capable Product Owner with experience delivering datadriven or platformbased products in complex environments.

Essential:

• Experience in product ownership product management or similar roles
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software delivery lifecycles
• Background in smart metering utilities or regulated operational environments
• Experience with data analysis reporting and dashboards (e.g. Power BI Tableau or similar)
• Ability to translate complex technical and regulatory requirements into clear outcomes
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Desirable:

• Experience with SaaS products APIs cloud platforms or data engineering
• Knowledge of UK energy sector compliance and regulatory frameworks
• Experience in process improvement change management or root cause analysis
• Exposure to GoToMarket product activities

• Degree (or equivalent experience) in Business Analysis Data Engineering IT or a related discipline
• Professional certification in Business Analysis Agile or Project Management
