This role provides administrative operational logistical support and problem-solving for New Product Introduction (NPI) programs especially pertaining to the confidentiality and secure destruction of physical hardware. With a primary operational focus on Contract Manufacturing (CM) facilities in Vietnam this position is responsible for ensuring SEZ compliance inventorying secure handling transport storage and destruction of NPI devices and materials according to Amazon policies standards and procedures.
This role is based in Vietnam with partial support for business activities across the wider APAC region. This position will report to the Compliance Manager (SCIPS).
Key job responsibilities
Develop and deliver a robust audit plan for CM and Destruction facilities in Vietnam and directly manage in-country audit activities.
Support audits and operations across the wider APAC region as and when instructed by the Compliance Manager DELTA.
Ensure audits and inspections are carried out to the Amazon standard with on time and high-quality deliverables.
Work with internal and external partners to monitor security compliance.
Provide operational data metrics to the Compliance Manager (SCIPS) on a weekly basis updating the destruction dashboard project tracker and budget tracker accordingly.
Support the day-to-day operation and administration of secure logistics especially as it pertains to the physical security of NPI devices/materials that are pending destruction.
Manage the inventorying auditing and secure destruction of NPI devices/materials from Contract Manufacturer (CM) locations.
Coordinate secure shipping and receiving with multiple vendors including ensuring correct labeling handling tracking and secure packaging standards are being followed.
Plan coordinate and provide operational support for prototype device collections in locations remote from the Prototype Security regional hub liaising with key contacts from devices teams to advise and support as necessary.
Conduct RFID/barcode scanning and Device Serial Number (DSN) reconciliation for prototype devices at Amazon facilities Contract Manufacturer (CM) facilities and destruction vendor facilities to ensure accurate inventory management before during and after destruction operations.
Manage and ensure contractual deliverables are met for third party destruction and guard force vendors.
Act as an ambassador for prototype/NPI device destruction in Vietnam advising peers and customers with regards to policy guidelines and SOP.
Generate and issue audit reports and findings of irregularities discrepancies and deviations from prescribed procedures.
Conduct audits of Contract Manufacturer (CM) sites destruction vendor facilities and Amazon facilities as directed by the Compliance Manager (SCIPS).
Proactively identify process gaps be comfortable making suggestions for improvement in service and openly participate in team discussions.
Support efforts for prototype security awareness and training.
Perform other related duties as required.

- Fluency of written and spoken English.
- Fluency in EITHER Mandarin Chinese OR Vietnamese.
- Proficiency in brand protection activities physical security/information security/fraud investigation/ manufacturing field and/or proven experience in global retail product launches.
- Ability to prioritize based on risk.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel.

- Ability to work in-person at the assigned office location.
- Domestic and international travel will be required (50-75% of time).

- TAPA ASIS CFE Security CISSP or other professional security organization qualification or memberships.
- Previous experience in prototype/tooling/component destruction handling.
- Exposure to and working knowledge of trade compliance and relevant customs regulations in the assigned region (e.g. SAMR/CCC compliance).
- Exposure to the consumer electronics industry or the manufacturing or distribution of physical hardware.
