The Opportunity

This summer you could help shape the future of work at South Bow by using Modern Work Technologies and Artificial Intelligence to make a real visible difference for employees across the organization.

If youre curious about how tools like Copilot Teams Power Automate Agentic AI and Databricks can transform the way people work - and you want hands on experience applying them in a real enterprise environment - this role is for you.

South Bow is seeking a motivated Summer Student currently enrolled in a post secondary technology. This four month placement offers hands on experience working at the intersection of technology AI automation and business enablement.

Youll work closely with IT and business teams to improve employee experiences streamline processes and unlock new ways of working using Microsofts Modern Work ecosystem and data driven insights. This is not a watch from the sidelines role - youll contribute to real initiatives that employees will actually use.

What You Will Do

As an IT Business Enablement Summer Student you will:
Help modernize how work gets done by supporting initiatives that use Copilot Copilot agents and Power Automate to reduce manual work and improve productivity across the organization.
Explore AI powered scenarios by helping identify opportunities where generative AI and automation can improve employee workflows decision making and access to information.
Build and improve automation solutions by assisting with low code/no code workflows approvals and process automation that make everyday work easier for teams.
Work with data to drive better outcomes by supporting analytics and insights initiatives using tools such as Databricks helping turn data into actionable improvements.
Partner with cross functional teams (IT Finance Projects Operations and Corporate Services) to understand real business problems and co create practical technology enabled solutions.
Create clear engaging documentation and enablement materials including how to guides process maps and knowledge articles that help employees confidently adopt new tools.
Contribute ideas. Your perspective as a student matters. Youll be encouraged to bring forward fresh thinking on how technology and AI can better support how people work.

Minimum Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a post secondary program in Information Technology Computer Science Data & Analytics Engineering Technology or a related field.
Interest in Modern Work technologies automation AI data or analytics (prior hands on experience is an asset but not required).
Strong communication and documentation skills you can explain ideas clearly to both technical and non technical audiences.
Analytical and curious mindset with a desire to understand how things work and how they could work better.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
