TITLE:Revenue Staff Accountant

WHAT YOULL DO:

TheRevenueStaff Accountant performs daily monthly and quarterly tasks to ensureaccuraterecording ofrevenue-relatedtransactions and maintenance of corporate accounting records. This role works closely with theRevenue Senior Accountantand Associate Manager ofAccounts Receivable as well as other members of both the accounting team and the larger Finance department in the performance of those tasks. Major responsibilities of theRevenueStaff Accountant include contract and revenue schedule analysis researchofcustomer issuessetupand completion of monthly reconciliations and providing supporting documentation for our external audits.

  • Perform revenue-related month-end close activities.

  • Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and detailed analyses for assigned accounts.

  • Calculate and book monthly accruals (SLA NIPR)

  • Set up Software contracts.

  • Maintain internal tracking mechanisms and ensure all contracts have revenue and billing schedulesand are set up to allow fortimelycustomer invoicing.

  • Review all Salesforce opportunities closed during the month for sale date DCM% andother relevant fields driving revenue recognition.

  • Review contracts to ensure proper revenue treatmentin accordance withcompany policy and revenuerecognitionaccounting standards.

  • Evaluate contracts for non-standard terms multiple elements andappropriate revenuerecognition.

  • Work closely with other Finance team members and cross-functional departments such as Sales FP&A and Professional Services.

  • Perform ad-hoc analyses as necessary to support other business functions.

  • Aid in ongoing and future projects (pricing model changes revenue automation integrations)

  • Assistwith monthly KPIs andidentifyopportunities for process improvement and efficiency.

WHAT YOUVE DONE:

  • Bachelors orMastersDegree and/or equivalent experience relevant to functional area

  • 1years experiencein Accounting or Finance field

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS ABILITIES & BEHAVIORS:

  • Preferred experience with large ERP systems (Workday SalesforceFloQast).

  • Preferred experience with U.S. GAAP particularlyASC 606 RevenueFromContractsWithCustomers.

  • Preferred experienceworking inwith a reputable public accounting firm or withina US-based global company.

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to gather analyze and interpret data to support decision-making and program design.

  • Strong financial and operating accounting skills.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex information to diverse audiences.

  • Desire to learn or have experience with revenue recognition under ASC-606 guidelines.

  • Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously and manage incoming deliverables.

  • Ability to work successfully both independently and in a team environment.

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills including strong Excel skillset.

  • Capability to actively seek out stay informed about and adapt to emerging developments innovations and trends relevant to Finance and Accounting.

  • Ability to effectively review and analyze contracts usinga high levelof precision and diligence.

  • Capacity toidentifyand resolve discrepancies in general ledger accounts and accounting entries.Proficiencyin troubleshooting issues related to compliance controls and financial systems.

  • Technical Proficiencyusingtheappropriate systemsto complete assigned tasks efficiently and effectively.

  • Ability to navigate and complete multiple projects and tasks through effectiveutilizationof time and resources.

  • Strong communicationskills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

WHAT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION YOU MAY WANT TO KNOW:

Travel:0-10%

Location: Remote Poland- Ideally hired candidate will be able to go onsite to our Warsaw office once a month for collaboration with team and/or when team members travel into Poland. Candidate willworkPoland workinghours butask that someone be flexible with their working hours during the month-end close period each month to adjust their hours a bit to have overlap with EST hours.

Work Authorization:Legally authorized to work in the country of job location. The Company does not sponsor visa petitions for this position.

Duck Creek Technologies supports a Flex First work environment and employs team members across multiple countries including Poland. To support transparency and consistency wemaintaindefined compensation ranges based on validated market data internal equity and role scope.

The expected salary range for this position is between PLN 103600 and PLN 148800 gross which reflects a good-faith estimate of the compensation range Duck Creek Technologies would expect to pay for this role at the time of posting.

Actual compensation will bedeterminedbased on a variety of factors including job-related skills experience qualifications internal equity and geographic considerationsin accordance withapplicable Polish law.

This position may also be eligible foradditionalcompensation such as annual bonuses or equity awards subject to plan terms and individual eligibility.
