Job Summary
As aSenior Data Engineer (19880)you willbe responsible fordesigning developing andmaintaininghigh-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projectsmentoringjunior engineers and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Design build and maintain scalable and reliable cloud-native data and infrastructure solutions on AWS ensuring security performance and cost efficiency
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational processes using Python and Infrastructure-as-Code best practices
- Optimize and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous integration continuous delivery and high deployment reliability
- Monitor system performance improve operational processes and ensure high availability resilience and scalability across environments
Qualifications and Skills
- 5 years of experience in DevOps Data Engineering or Cloud Engineering roles within enterprise environments
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2 S3 RDS Lambda IAM VPC CloudWatch and related cloud-native tools
- Advanced proficiency in Python for automation scripting and service integration
- Solid experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions GitLab CI Jenkins or similar
- Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Deep understanding of cloud security best practices networking concepts and high-availability architectures
- Experience working with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong knowledge of monitoring logging and observability tools to ensure system reliability
- Experience implementing DevOps best practices including version control code reviews and automated testing
- Strong analytical problem-solving and collaboration skills with the ability to work in Agile environments
