Our client a well-established international manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Plant Manager / General Manager to lead and develop its production operations in Bulgaria. This is a senior leadership role with full operational and financial responsibility for the manufacturing site focused on driving performance operational excellence and sustainable growth
PLANT MANAGER - BULGARIA
Location: Plovdiv Bulgaria

THE JOB
Develop and execute the plants strategic and operational plans in alignment with corporate objectives
Lead change management initiatives and transformation projects to improve efficiency and competitiveness
Oversee daily manufacturing operations ensuring high standards of productivity safety and quality
Optimize production planning capacity utilization and cost management
Ensure full compliance with local regulations and international manufacturing standards
Implement and monitor KPIs and performance management systems
Hold full P&L responsibility for the manufacturing site
Prepare and manage annual budgets forecasts and financial performance reviews
Identify cost optimization and investment opportunities to support long-term growth
Ensure adherence to quality standards certifications and operational best practices
THE PERSON
Bachelors and/or Masters degree in Engineering Business Manufacturing or related field
Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in plant management or general management within an international manufacturing environment
Strong financial acumen with proven P&L management experience
Experience with Lean Manufacturing continuous improvement and operational excellence methodologies
Excellent leadership communication and decision-making skills
Fluent Bulgarian and English
