The RN Supervisor at Cherry Healths Westside Health Center provides clinical leadership and operational oversight for the OBGYN and Family Practice department with additional collaboration across clinical and Family Practice services. This role is ideal for an experienced OB nurse leader who thrives in a dynamic ambulatory care environment and is passionate about developing newer staff while maintaining strong clinical standards.
Reporting directly to site leadership the RN Supervisor oversees a growing team of 4 RNs 3 Medical Assistants and 3 OBGYN providers. With many newer team members this leader will play a key role in redeveloping and strengthening the teamfostering mentorship accountability and a culture of clinical excellence.
This position balances hands-on clinical involvement with strong supervisory and operational management. The RN Supervisor ensures annual competencies vaccine management compliance clinical training support performance oversight and appropriate staffing coverage while also remaining actively engaged in patient care workflows when needed. Success in this role requires the ability to multitask effectivelymanaging staff patient needs and organizational priorities without losing focus on leadership responsibilities.
The ideal candidate brings:
3 years of supervisory or managerial experience in an ambulatory care setting
Prior OBGYN experience preferred
Demonstrated ability to lead coach and develop newer clinical staff
Strong organizational skills to balance operational oversight with clinical engagement
Work schedule: MondayFriday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Michigan RN license required (BSN preferred).
