CNC Machine Shop Supervisor

We are seeking a First Shift Production Supervisor to oversee machining operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for leading production teams to ensure safe efficient operations while meeting quality and delivery expectations. The position works closely with cross-functional teams to support overall production goals and maintain workflow across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and ensure completion of daily production schedules within assigned areas

• Provide leadership guidance and training to team members on proper procedures and best practices

• Champion a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with all safety standards and protocols

• Assign tasks and encourage team input to improve efficiency productivity and workflow

• Collaborate with team leads and engineering to address production needs and resolve issues

• Identify and troubleshoot basic manufacturing challenges related to materials or equipment

• Utilize ERP systems and visual production tools to manage workflow and track progress

• Operate material handling equipment as needed (training provided)

• Perform additional duties as required to support operations

Qualifications & Skills:

• Associate or Bachelors degree preferred

• Hands-on experience with CNC machining including multi-axis lathes and mills required

• 35 years of supervisory experience in a machining or manufacturing environment strongly preferred

• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes including quality efficiency and safety standards

• Strong problem-solving organizational and planning abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience working with ERP or similar business systems

• Effective communication skills with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds and following all workplace safety guidelines

• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
