Job Description
As a Security Officer - Operations Center in Westlake Village CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading financial institution location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents and respond to needs with clear communication and strong customer service. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients visitors and employees at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Monitor access points verify identification and/or authorization as required and assist with visitor management and directional support.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including initiating notifications coordinating with onsite management and/or public responders and documenting actions taken.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas exterior grounds and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity identify hazards and report maintenance concerns.
- Complete accurate reports and logs including incident reports patrol activity and unusual observations following Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 3 years combined law enforcement/military/security-related experience OR a college degree.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
