Maintenance Director

Job Description

• The purpose of Maintenance is to assure the reliability from the LEGO equipment and machinery through the Total Productivity Maintenance and growing the efficiency and productivity reducing the maintenance cost by following the safety and quality standards.

Core Responsibilities:

• Assure Safety as a world class company.
• Production/Process support.
• Responsible for promoting and ensuring the integrity of employees through security tools implemented in the organization.
• Work with other sites to maintain the teamwork and share good practices.
• Ensure compliance of quality and safety standard (Product safety QA Handbook IMS OHSAS 18001 ISO 14001 & ISO 9001)-
• Ensure and maintain production plan fulfillment improving and optimizing resources and producing in sequence.
• Follow up and compliance of area critical metrics.
• Deployment of business strategy in their group.
• Execution of HR processes (IDP Merit PRP).
• Identify the competences needs of their team members.
• Continuous training feedback monitoring evaluation and support to Managers Engineers and Specialists in their area of responsibility.
• Lead continuous improvement program (CI tools) in the context of TPM.
• Ensure that the LEGO Production team meets the reliability requirements of the company and product quality by securing best equipment performance.
• Run maintenance and general stores budget.
• People Leader responsible to coordinate a technical staff (Managers engineers) according to the company policies.
• Set a clear path to follow regarding Safety quality deliver and cost.
• Set a clear goals and important metrics to maintenance area in order to achieve molding business unit results.
• Lead the team responsible of equipment installation in North America.
• Handle General Stores and Spare parts warehouse.
• Set short mid and long term strategy for maintenance area.
• Active member of an Operations Leadership Team responsible for success of manufacturing area.

Do you have what it takes

• Experience as Operations Leader (Director/Senior Manager) or related.
• Lead and handled administrative operational and technical employees. Worked in a mature TPM environment.
• Lean Manufacturing knowledge TPM Engineering Warehouse and Inventory management.
• Experience ramping up operations.
• Business English.
