Job Summary

Libertyville School District 70 is seeking a Social Worker for the 2026-2027 school year. Benefits include: 2 Personal and 12 Sick days; $2150 Tuition Reimbursement; Life Medical and Dental Insurance; annual $550 457 Contribution; and $375 Workshop/Conference Allotment. The salary is based on the placement on the Salary Schedule.

Qualifications:

Applicants must hold an active and valid ISBE License with an endorsement for School Social Worker and be registered in Lake County.
Student teaching internship or current experience in this area

Purpose: To advocate for students through problem-solving and development of systems programs and services that maximize students current and future social emotional and educational progress. To help students resolve such personal emotional and social problems as interfere with their adjustment to school and their capacity to enjoy the fullest benefits of the education offered them. The school psychologist/educational specialist is a change agent who collaborates with individuals families schools and communities to promote effective educational environments.
