Overview
We are a fast-growing company looking to bring on a Warehouse/Inventory Team Lead with excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills. This Warehouse Lead is expected to be a strategic thinker with fantastic organizational and time management skills. You will have the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment facilitating internal Warehouse Logistics and Inventory Management responsibilities onsite at our Burlington MA Warehouse and report to the Logistics Manager.
Responsibilities
- Work independently and in a team environment overseeing the performance of the finished goods cycle count program to ensure accuracy and control of inventory volumes and accurate ERP transactions. Assist in performing daily cycle counts adjustments replenishments and investigations reporting any variances.
- Microsoft Dynamics (ERP) experience preferably with Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience.
- Load organize and unload packages. Properly store and package materials in accordance with company policy and procedures. Safely transporting materials from one storage location to another using material handling equipment (MHE) such as stackers motorized pallet jacks forklifts pallet jacks and carts.
- Manage the monthly disposal of obsolescent inventory and track future months expired goods to encourage the sale reducing financial loss.
- Monitor/conduct inventory systematic transactions such as daily lot releases and material requests to mitigate delays in operations.
- Lead continuous improvement opportunities within the warehouse and third-party warehouses providing input into broader materials management improvement opportunitiesdriving organization and optimization of warehouse space.
- Be a visible and a vocal advocate for safety by ensuring adherence to proper operational and safety procedures.
- Ensure the work environment is maintained in a clean and safe manner following government and company standards.
- All other duties and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Have at least 4 years of warehouse experience preferably in the medical device industry.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required bachelors degree in a relevant field preferred.
- Have computer knowledge including a proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP system experience Microsoft D365 preferred.
- Have experience leading a diverse warehouse staff with experience in training motivating and resolving employee relations issues.
- Demonstrate the ability to lead by example.
- Possess good written and verbal communication skills.
- Be willing to listen respond and empower teammates.
- Have the ability to collaboratively work across the Company effectively presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers and teammates.
- Have the ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Periodically stand walk bend stoop push pull grasp reach above the head and safely lift boxes weighing 50lbs as needed.
