Distribution & Logistics Manager

Job Purpose

This role is responsible for Distribution and Logistics operations for Indonesia. Reporting to Distribution & Logistics Lead for Southeast Asia this role needs to manage DC operations for Indonesia including inbound logistics customs quota management verification of 3PL monthly billing DC outbound and returns GWP shipment arrangements and inter-company shipments. Main KPIs for this role are Service Levels OTFR (Ontime Fulfillment Rate) Cost Metrices and 3PL management/relationships.

Other deliverables include 3PL management developing a professional and accountable DC team through 3PL and overseeing on time and accurate deliveries to customers in Indonesia.

This role is responsible for building strong working relationships with commercial planning finance order management IT and trade compliance teams to grow business and drive continuous improvement agenda.

Responsibilities

• Plan organize direct and control processes and systems for distribution network and implement robust supply chain practices to deliver excellent and responsive service to grow business.
• Accountable for annual PI quota renewal and submission of new PI quota application on timely basis.
• work closely with IOR vendor/custom brokerage to maximize the usage of PI quota from time to time
• Develop and drive strategies for operational excellence at DC and for logistics flows.
• Accountable for delivery and year-to-year improvement of business results: financial service and employee engagement.
• Work closely with local and regional leaders to track quarterly revenue targets and ensure orders are delivered on time.
• Drive logistics vendor strategies: new vendor identification review negotiations and selection to meet companys distribution and logistics outsourcing needs.
• Drive continual measurement of vendors service standards and productivity levels to ensure that vendors are meeting agreed targets.
• Responsible for setting up the annual DC and logistics operations budget and track and oversee these to ensure that cost performance is within budget as well as delivering on a cost reduction schedule.
• Responsible for 3PL and vendor monthly billing verification.
• Work closely with forwarding agents in handling samples GWP and intercompany shipments.
• Coordinate with custom brokerage and forwarding agent on import & export docs verification
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with inside and outside organizations to bring leading edge technology tools and systems to improve productivity and processes.
• Lead and provide guidance to the 3PL distribution and logistics team. Ensure annual goals are communicated and completed. Lead and influence team members to partner together to achieve individual and business goals.
• Deliver on our commitments and leverage distribution and logistics capabilities to drive profitable growth.
• Leverage analytics and new technologies to make faster data-based decisions to drive productivity.
• Integrate sustainable & financially responsible solutions in our value chain that align with LS&Co. targets.
• Develop and implement departmental goals and objectives in alignment with organizational priorities.
• Manage workload and prioritize projects to ensure timely delivery of results.
• Coordinate with other departments or teams to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and synergy.
• Serve as a point of contact for escalated issues resolving conflicts and making decisions as needed.
• Communicate departmental updates progress and achievements to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 710 years in distribution/logistics/DC operations with strong experience in Indonesia import/export customs and PI quota management.
• Proven leadership managing 3PL operations including inbound/outbound flows returns vendor performance and monthly billing accuracy.
• Strong capability managing DC KPIs Service Levels OTFR productivity cost metrics and driving continuous operational improvements.
• Experience collaborating with custom brokers forwarding agents IOR providers and handling GWP samples and inter-company shipments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence 3PL teams resolve escalations and partner cross-functionally with Commercial Planning Finance OM IT and Trade Compliance.
• Highly data-driven detail-oriented strong communicator and able to manage multiple priorities while ensuring disciplined execution.
