Our team of100 ambitious professionalsoperatesacross environmental markets includingrenewable power renewable gas carbon markets biofuels and energy efficiency. We work closely with corporations utilities financial institutions and project developers across global markets.

ABOUT THE TEAM & ROLE

We launched the US Desk in March 2019. Since then we have grown into a key player in the North and Latin American environmental markets. The US is one of the largest environmental markets globally and building a strong presence in New York is central to STXs ambition of becoming a leading global commodity trading house. - Tim Pabst Managing Director

Our US teamoperatesin one of themost dynamic environmental markets in the world offering significantopportunityfor ambitious individuals to quickly develop intoleading market participants.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop a strong understanding ofenvironmental commodity markets and regulatory frameworks
• Work closely with senior traders and sales professionals tooriginate and execute transactions
• Build andmaintainlong-term relationships with corporate and institutional market participants
• Identify commercial opportunities and market inefficiencies
• Manage and grow aportfolio of clients and trading relationships
• Stay ahead ofmarket developments pricing trends and regulatory changes
• Contribute to expanding STXs presence acrossNorth American and international markets
  

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors degree inFinance Economics Business Mathematics Engineering or a related field
• Strong commercial drive and entrepreneurial mindset
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability toanalyze complex markets and translate insights into opportunities
• Strong organizational skills and the ability toperform in a fast-paced high-performance environment
• Demonstratedinterest inenergy markets sustainability or commodity trading
• Working rights in the United States and based in or willing to relocate to New York NY
