Description:
The individual selected for this position must be an instructional leader student-centered and dedicated to supporting and enriching the academic climate in person. The Administrative Intern will serve as a lead administrator and will be responsible for executing the following duties:
- Planning and leading professional development in preparation for the summer program.
- Hiring and evaluating teachers and staff providing instructional feedback on units and instruction.
- Effectively communicating with parents students and staff.
- The Administrative Intern will work closely with in-person learning programs.
Dates of Summer Learning include:
- Staff PD and Workdays on June 5th-June 8th 2026
- Student learning from June 9th-July 2nd 2026
- Contract Time Mon-Thurs 7:45am-12:15pm
- NO FRIDAYS & No School June 19th (Juneteenth observed)
- Staff are paid for days worked/hourly; no pay for days not worked
- Prior to June 5th each site will have staff meetings and collaborative planning time for up to an additional 6 hours of pay to be determined by the Administrative Intern
- Positions are contingent upon enrollment
Qualifications:
- Current Missouri teaching certification (Grades 6-8 )
- Masters degree in Educational Leadership or School Administration
Compensation:
- The School District of University City offers a competitive stipend of$5000.00
Pay Dates:
- Days worked June 5th-June 18th will be paid on June 26th
- Days worked June 22nd-July 2nd will be paid on July 10th
