ELIGIBLE EMPLOYER FOR LOAN FORGIVENESS!HEALTH INSURANCE ON DAY ONE!The Empower/Therapeutic Intervention (TIP) Program is a specialized program that addresses social/emotional needs of students incorporating therapeutic and ABA Responsibilities:- Administration analysis and reporting of academic assessments and extended evaluations.- Participate in Team reevaluation and annual review meetings for students on caseload and write Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).- Complete and coordinate data informed progress reports from service providers for all students according to the schedule set by host school Collaborative and special education regulations.- Develop and implement schedules for students services in accordance with their IEPs service delivery; coordinate schedules with specialists; work with general education teachers to schedule students general education classes and activities.- Select appropriate instructional programs and methodologies plan and implement instruction that matches students IEP goals and objectives.- Develop and implement curriculum aligned with Frameworks and Common Core Standards.- Provide differential instruction and interventions in the classroom.- Implement appropriate behavior management techniques and/or behavior support plans.- Develop and implement classroom and curricular accommodations and modifications.- Assess and maintain data on progress of all students on caseload and differentiate student goals and instruction accordingly.- Determine student educational needs based on appropriate assessments write reports and present at annual and reevaluation Team reevaluation meetings.- Develop teaching assistants schedules in accordance with students IEP service delivery grids and needs.- Provide supervision of assigned special education teaching assistants.- Provide evaluative feedback and input regarding teaching assistants including completion of biannual evaluation forms to Program Administrator.- Collaborate with students special education Team to address transition-related issues and skills and to implement transition services according to the Transition Planning Form (TPF).- When appropriate integrate MA Career/Vocational Technical Education Frameworks into content across the curriculum.- Consult with parents/guardians general education teachers therapists school nurses consultants and teaching assistants regarding planning and students program needs.- Participate in host school Open House for parents/guardians staff meetings and professional development opportunities as appropriate.- Given training by a Registered Nurse and/or training videos the teacher will use an EpiPen and/or Vagal Nerve Stimulator with the student for whom they were prescribed.- Attend Collaborative-wide and specific program staff meetings as scheduled by the Program Administrator and/or Executive Director.- Perform other related tasks or duties at the discretion of the Program Administrator and/or Executive benefits Include (based on contract and position) - Unit A Contract with salary chart can be found on CASE web site here:UnitA - Compensation competitive with public school employee sector - Participation in MA state pension system (MTRS) - Voluntary benefits: health insurance on day one; dental insurance long-term disability and life insurance are available on the 1st of the month following your date of hire; - CASE covers 65% health insurance premiums and 50% cost of basic life insurance; - Sick personal religious holidays professional and bereavement leave; - Mileage reimbursement for travel between schools in-house PDP programs tuition and workshop reimbursement mentoring stipends - Longevity pay Early Retirement Incentive Sick Leave Bank - Participation in 457(b) and 403(b) Retirement Plans - Eligible employer for Public Service Loan Forgiveness
