What you can expect
You will manage complex patent and trademark portfolios across global jurisdictions while administering critical intellectual property (IP) systems. Youll collaborate with engineering legal and finance teams to optimize docket workflows and annuity programs. Your work will directly support innovation by ensuring timely IP protection and recognition for inventors.

About the Team
We protect and manage the companys intellectual property portfolio across global markets. Our team collaborates closely with inventors attorneys and business stakeholders. We enable innovation by ensuring efficient IP operations and strategic portfolio management.

Responsibilities

• Managing comprehensive patent and trademark dockets across multiple jurisdictions ensuring compliance with all critical deadlines and filing requirements
• Administering IPfolio as the primary system expert configuring workflows and troubleshooting issues to enhance operational efficiency
• Coordinating global annuity payment programs with service providers conducting portfolio reviews and reconciling budgets
• Operating the inventor awards program by tracking disclosures coordinating with Finance and HR and communicating updates to stakeholders
• Building relationships with Engineering Product Legal and Finance teams to facilitate communication and support IP strategy initiatives
  

What were looking for

• Demonstrate 10 years of patent paralegal experience managing large-scale IP portfolios
• Apply expert-level proficiency in IPfolio administration and workflow optimization
• Navigate USPTO and international patent/trademark filing procedures across multiple jurisdictions
• Manage global annuity programs and coordinate with external service providers
• Organize competing priorities while maintaining accuracy in fast-paced environments
• Communicate effectively across technical legal and business stakeholders
• Bring experience from both law firm and in-house corporate settings
• Apply knowledge of Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) procedures and vendor contract negotiation

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
