As a Airport Security Professional - Unarmed Patrolin Lihue HI you will safeguard the airport staff and its facilities. Along with driving patrolling checking and securing doors.As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal serving a government location you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for all visitors and staff. Position Type: Part Time - Afternoon/Morning

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.93. The premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

• Valid Drivers License (1 years)
• 21 years of age
• Ability to pass a background check physical and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors and personnel by following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures access requirements and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminals administrative areas parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.
• Monitor entrances gates and restricted areas verifying identification and/or access authorization in accordance with posted instructions and site policies.
• Respond to incidents alarms and requests for assistance in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site contacts and public agencies as directed.
• Complete shift logs and incident reports with clear accurate details and communicate security-related observations to supervisors and oncoming personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
