As a Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management (FCERM) Team Member in the Partnership and Strategic Overview (PSO) Teamyoullbe working at the very heart of the team that delivers the strategy for FCERM in Greater ManchesterMerseysideand Cheshire (GMMC).
Youll contribute to the delivery of our statutory and regulatory duties in planning permitting andflood risk data management. Youll also support the delivery of our Investment Programme help fulfil our strategic overview responsibilities with other Risk Management Authorities and support engagement work with our communities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding to Freedom of Information requests sharing vital flood risk data with customers and partners
- Providing administrative support to meetings and project boards helping drive collaboration and progress
- Managing shared inboxes and directing queries to the right teams
- Develop a good understanding of flood risk issues in your area and use this information to communicate and influence internal and external customers and partners
You may also be asked to support other areas of the teams work giving you the opportunity to broaden your experience.
Responding to incidents is a central part of what we to have an incident role and make yourself available to respond to incidents or provide business continuity support during an incident. This may attract anadditionalpayment and full training is with you to find a role that suits your interests and circumstances.
