Security Officer Hospital Patrol

As a Security Officer - Campus Patrol in West Palm Beach FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet staff patients and visitors with professional customer service communicate clearly and document observations as needed. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures healthcare location policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of hospital and/or clinic areas including lobbies corridors parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting staff with de-escalation and coordinating with site leadership and/or first responders as directed.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow provide directions to patients and guests and report suspicious activity hazards and/or policy violations through the required communication channels.
• Complete accurate reports and logs document incidents and communicate shift activity to site contacts and/or the next officer.

Minimum Requirements:

• Clint requires candidate to provide proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A state county and/or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must possess a unarmed class d license
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
