Marshfield Medical Center is seeking a Neuropsychologist to join our team in Marshfield Wisconsin. The Neuropsychologist is responsible for evaluating and diagnosing individuals with neurological and neurobehavioral disorders. Referrals come from a range of primary care providers and medical specialists. We have a busy outpatient practice and also receive inpatient consults from our 298-bed hospital which includes 34 intensive care beds a Certified Primary Stroke Center Level II adult and pediatric trauma teams and both adult and pediatric subacute rehabilitation are especially interested in a pediatric or lifespan neuropsychologist but will consider applications from neuropsychologists who specialize in adults.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
Minimum Required: Ph.D. or PsyD. Psychologist.
Must possess A doctoral degree from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by The Council For Higher Education And Accreditation and meet the American Board of Professional Psychology/ American Board Of Clinical Neuropsychology eligibility requirements in effect at the time the doctoral degree was awarded.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required: Must have successfully completed at least one year of fellowship/postdoctoral studies in neuropsychology; ABPP/ABCN Board eligible.
Preferred/Optional: Completion of 2-year fellowship/postdoc; Two to five years of recent work experience in neuropsychology; ABBP/ABCN board certified.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
The following licensure(s) certification(s) registration(s) etc. are required for this with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.
Minimum Required: must have current Wisconsin license to practice psychology or be eligible for licensure in Wisconsin.
Preferred/Optional: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire. Otherwise BLS certification required within three months of hire.
