Job Description & Summary:

We are looking for experienced software testers with: *strong analytical and problem-solving abilities *willingness and to learn new technologies tools and adapt to changing project requirements *ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines *good verbal and written communication skills *ability to work collaboratively in a team setting

Responsibilities:

Design and implement testing strategies for cloud-based infrastructure and DevOps environments ensuring reliability scalability performance and security of cloud applications services and deployments. Bridge the gap between development testing and operations by integrating quality assurance practices into CI/CD and automation processes. Design and implement automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines. Understand and analyze requirements specifications and acceptance criteria to design effective test scenarios. Analyze infrastructure and deployment specifications to create comprehensive test scenarios covering functional performance and security aspects. Design detailed and comprehensive test cases based on identified scenarios and validate cloud infrastructure components and DevOps toolchains. Execute functional test cases to validate functionalities; identify document and report defects in appropriate tracking tools. Perform regression load and performance testing to ensure changes to the applications do not adversely affect existing functionalities. Perform validation of monitoring logging and alerting systems to ensure operational readiness and stability in cloud environments. Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks for infrastructure-as-code container orchestration and cloud-native applications. Build and enhance automation scripts and frameworks to increase test coverage and reduce manual intervention in testing cloud infrastructure. Integrate automated test suites seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and fast feedback loops throughout the deployment lifecycle. Maintain thorough documentation of test cases test results defect reports and key testing metrics for continuous improvement and audits. Collaborate with test leads development teams business analysts and other stakeholders to resolve issues. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including cloud architects developers security analysts and release managers to resolve quality issues. Perform cloud security testing including IAM policy testing encryption validation and VPC/firewall rule testing. Validate compliance requirements including GDPR HIPAA SOC2 and PCI-DSS standards. Perform cloud scalability testing including auto-scaling validation and load balancing tests. Measure latency throughput and response time across cloud services. Leverage monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana Datadog New Relic and AWS CloudWatch. Perform migration testing including on-premise to cloud migration validation. Conduct disaster recovery (DR) testing including failover backup and recovery testing. Perform serverless testing for Lambda Azure Functions and Cloud Functions. Identify cost-effective test environment strategies for cost optimization. Validate SLAs including uptime availability and reliability verification. Perform chaos engineering using tools such as Chaos Monkey Gremlin and LitmusChaos for fault injection testing.

Maintain thorough documentation of test cases results defect reports and testing metrics Work with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure and GCP including understanding of IaaS PaaS and SaaS service models Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation Proficient in Selenium WebDriver for browser automation and Selenium Grid for distributed test execution Proficient in programming and scripting languages such as Java C# Python Bash PowerShell Experience with test automation frameworks like TestNG JUnit NUnit PyTest or UnitTest Understanding of HTML CSS and JavaScript for web-based application testing Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins GitLab CI Bamboo and Azure DevOps Work with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Docker Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible Puppet or Chef Familiarity with version control systems like Git for source code and test automation management Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured Basic SQL knowledge for database validations and data verification Experience with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter Locust or MS LoadTest Exposure to Agile and DevOps methodologies and practices
