Job Responsibilities:
This position involves working for all product lines of CRH Canada (cement aggregates and concrete). The person is responsible for assisting in creating project programs testing materials analyzing testing results and presenting technical reports. This position also contributes to developing sustainable product solutions and technologies for all business units.
- Material sampling & testing (concrete cement aggregates admixtures etc.)
- Plan and implementation of project programs
- Data management and reporting Maintain SR&ED records
- Coordinate external testing with consultants and contractors
- Provide technical support for different business units
- Review specifications and research literature
- Draft technical report
Requirements:
- Good verbal and writing communication skills
- Experience in technical writing
- Strong analytical skill with good attention to details and accuracy
- Knowledge about cement concrete and aggregates
- Advanced computer knowledge including MS Office and Minitab
- Engineering degree (Civil Chemical Mechanical Materials)
