Position Overview
A leading acute care healthcare organization is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join its rehabilitation team.
The Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating diagnosing and treating patients with physical impairments caused by injury illness or surgery. This role focuses on developing individualized treatment plans to improve mobility reduce pain and restore functional independence.
The position requires close collaboration with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care and achieve optimal recovery outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals and patient goals.
Provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions to improve strength mobility and functional independence.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and outcomes.
Educate patients and families on exercise programs safety practices and recovery strategies.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
Provide guidance and mentorship to physical therapy assistants or students when applicable.
Required Qualifications
State Licensed Physical Therapist.
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
1 year of Physical Therapist experience preferred.
New graduates are encouraged to apply.
