Description

The Mechanicsburg PA office of Modjeski and Masters Inc. is seeking an HR Assistant to provide essential administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department. This role will work closely with HR leadership managers and employees to ensure smooth execution of daily HR functions including onboarding personnel file maintenance recruiting coordination and benefits support.

The HR Assistant will play a key role in maintaining accurate HR records supporting employee inquiries coordinating hiring activities and assisting with various HR projects and initiatives. Strong communication organization and attention to detail are essential as this individual helps promote a positive employee experience and ensures HR processes remain consistent timely and compliant with company policies and employment regulations.

What Were Looking For

  • Bachelorsin business administration (HR focus) or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
  • One (1) to three (3) years of administrative or human resources support experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of HR principles employment practices and recordkeeping requirements
  • Willingness to learn and develop within the Human Resources field

What Youll Do

  • Maintain and update employee personnel files HRIS data and related records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
  • Support recruitment activities such as posting positions scheduling interviews communicating with candidates and maintaining applicant tracking records
  • Assist with benefits administration including enrollment support employee inquiries and coordination with benefits providers
  • Track and maintain records related to employee training certifications performance reviews and compliance requirements
  • Respond to routine employee questions regarding policies procedures and HR programs escalating issues as appropriate
  • Prepare HR reports correspondence and documentation with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Support HR initiatives projects and employee engagement activities
  • Ensure compliance with federal state and local employment laws and company policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the Human Resources function
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High levelof discretion and ability tomaintainconfidentiality
  • Proficiencywith Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint)
  • Experience with HRIS(Paycom) andapplicant tracking systemspreferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
