Engineering Manager to join its talented and growing Motors team. This person will focus on development of motors gearboxes and related modules for the consumer products industry. Will build strong customer relationships through dedicated customer service and collaborative development. They will become the voice of our customers and work closely with our engineering and management
Job Responsibilities
Technical interface for customer team in San Jose; present technical documents and discuss design solutions.
Identify and communicate effectively with key stakeholders including the factory engineering/manufacturing teams and our customers to share priorities and goals.
Identify highlight and drive priorities that are not always fully defined.
Minimum Requirements
B.S. Mechanical Engineering degree
3 years work experience in a technical setting.
Ability to understand complex mechanical assemblies.
Experience in designing mechanical systems and components.
Strong root cause analysis deductive reasoning and FMEA skills pertaining to both dimensions and performance of component and systems.
Experience with sheetmetal MIM CNC and plastics design and manufacturing processes.
Familiar with statistical process control as it relates to part tolerances and assembly process (CP CPK tolerance analysis etc).
Working knowledge of GD&T and ability to interpret engineering part and assembly drawings.
