Job Summary/Description:
The WTVY Family of Stations in Dothan Alabama has an immediate opening for an editor.
Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Posting to Digital Platforms
- Writing Digital
- Possibly broadcast stories
- Camera Operation in the field
Qualifications/Requirements:
- The ideal person would have experience or training in newsroom operations with writing skills plus.
- Basic knowledge of editing programs is essential.
- A college degree is preferred
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds be proficient in typing skills and work well with others in a fast-paced newsroom environment.
