ROLE SUMMARY
We are looking for a Senior Technical Business Analyst to lead the technical documentation and process mapping for our Dynamics 365 Business Central ecosystem specifically focusing on POS and Inventory Management. You will bridge the gap between complex retail business requirements and technical execution by creating high-quality Business Process Diagrams (BPD) and technical specifications. Your primary impact will be ensuring our engineering teams have clear unambiguous specs to build scalable global retail solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Documentation & Design
- Create detailed Business Process Diagrams (BPD) and functional flowcharts for POS and Inventory workflows.
- Write comprehensive technical specifications and API documentation for developers.
- Develop and maintain a centralized Knowledge Base for the ERP and Retail product suite.
- Translate high-level business needs into granular user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
Stakeholder & Technical Alignment
- Lead requirement gathering sessions with international stakeholders to define retail logic and inventory constraints.
- Partner with the Product Manager and Delivery Head to prioritize the technical backlog.
- Validate technical feasibility of proposed solutions with the development team before finalization.
- Audit existing technical documentation to ensure it meets Softobiz standards for clarity and accuracy.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelors degree in CS IT Engineering or a related technical field.
- Experience: 811 years of experience as a BA with at least 4 years in the ERP/Retail domain.
- Industry: Proven experience in global supply chain or retail multi-site implementations.
- Preferred Certifications: CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional)

- International Communication: Ability to lead client-facing calls with stakeholders across Australia US and India.
- Ownership: Comfortable taking full responsibility for the accuracy of the technical knowledge base.

FIRST 6 MONTHS PRIORITY FOCUS
- Knowledge Audit: Review all existing ERP/POS documentation and identify critical gaps.
- BPD Standardization: Establish a standard template for Business Process Diagrams across the retail suite.
- Spec Backlog: Successfully deliver technical specs for two major inventory/POS feature releases.
