PG Bison invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Sourcing Specialist based at our Head Office. Reporting to the Category Manager this permanent role is responsible for driving strategic sourcing initiatives building strong supplier partnerships and delivering measurable value across assigned categories.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Focus Areas:

Develop and implement category-specific sourcing strategies.
Identify assess and onboard high-performing suppliers.
Lead supplier performance management and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Conduct market analysis and support commercial decision-making.
Lead negotiations contract development and ensure procurement compliance.
Drive cost optimisation value creation and benefits tracking.
Mitigate sourcing risks through thorough due diligence and supplier assessments.
Collaborate with Finance Operations Manufacturing and Category Managers to align sourcing activities with organisational priorities.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelors Degree (NQF7) in Supply Chain Logistics Finance Accounting or a related field.
CIPS/MCIPS (preferred).
Minimum 4 years experience in Buying Procurement or Sourcing.
Experience with e-sourcing tools ERP systems and analytics platforms (advantageous).
