As a Security Officer Driver Roving Patrol in Grosse Pointe Woods MI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving Patrol Officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents respond to calls for assistance and document observations using basic technology. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants visitors and/or contractors by following post orders site-specific policies and assigned access control procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building common areas parking areas and the property perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting emergency services and/or site management as directed.
• Monitor for unusual activity hazards and/or maintenance concerns during patrols and report findings through required notifications and written documentation.
• Complete shift activity logs incident reports and other required documentation and communicate relevant information during shift turnover.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
