Job Description:

At Regions the Financial Analyst gathers organizes analyzesand communicates relevant financial information in support of line of business partners.

Primary Responsibilities

Analyzes consolidates interprets and communicates financial data
Prepares detailed reports and presentations for review by all levels of management
Monitors business unit financial performance against plans forecasts and budgets
Consolidates a wide range of operating and financial projections for the development of both short-term and long-term business plans
Assists with junior analysttraining and development
Offers advice and guidance to junior analysts on occasion assisting in the development of necessary skills and promote continuous improvement initiatives
Works independently and receives minimal guidance

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements

Masters degree in Finance Accounting or a directly related field and one (1) year of experience with management financial reporting
Or Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a directly related field and three (3) years of experience with management financial reporting

Preferences

Experience within a financial services industry

Basic Visual Basic for Application (VBA) and Structured Query Language(SQL) skills
Intermediate financial analysis & modeling skills
Intermediate knowledge of financial statements
Moderate Qlikskills
Strong attention to detail
Strong Essbase skills
Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
Strong quantitative and technical aptitude
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Additional Preferences:

Experience or familiarity with Capital Markets
Experience with budgeting and forecasting revenue and expenses
Series 27 or 99 License or desire to obtain
Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast paced and dynamic environment

This position is intended to be onsite now or in the near future. Associates will have regular work hours including full days in the office three or more days a week. The manager will set the work schedule for this position including in-office expectations. Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position and relocation would be at your expense.

This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidates qualifications and relevant experience.

Regions will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position at this time. Applicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience skills knowledge contribution job location and most importantly performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
