Job Summary
As a Production Supervisor atSurfside Laundry located in the vibrant community of Panama City Beach FL you will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily operations to ensure smooth efficient and high-quality laundry production. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead a dedicated team in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the continued success and growth of a well-respected local business. You will be responsible for coordinating workflows managing staff and maintaining safety and quality standards to meet and exceed production targets.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day production activities on the laundry floor ensuring that all processes are completed efficiently and according to company standards.
- Lead motivate and train production team members to enhance productivity maintain high morale and foster a positive working environment.
- Monitor equipment operation and coordinate regular maintenance to prevent downtime and ensure safety compliance.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and quality control measures making sure all employees adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with inventory and supply chain departments to ensure that necessary materials and resources are available to maintain continuous workflow.
- Maintain accurate production records prepare reports and communicate daily progress and challenges to upper management.
- Identify areas for process improvements and work collaboratively with management to implement changes that boost efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing production or laundry environment is highly preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage workflows and team priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact professionally with staff at all levels.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control standards relevant to production operations.
- Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to handle unexpected challenges calmly and efficiently.
- Basic computer skills for reporting and scheduling purposes.
- A high school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or leadership training is a plus.
