Position: MRI Technologist
Department: Radiology / Cardiology MRI
Shift: Night Shift 3x12 Hours
Schedule: Friday / Saturday / Sunday 18:30 07:00
Duration: 13 Weeks

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join a dynamic radiology team for a night shift assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong MRI imaging experience the ability to work independently during overnight hours and proficiency in a high-volume acute care environment.
Responsibilities
Perform MRI imaging procedures according to physician orders and facility protocols.
Ensure proper patient positioning safety screening and monitoring during MRI exams.
Administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs as required.
Maintain accurate electronic documentation and imaging records.
Operate MRI equipment while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Communicate effectively with physicians radiologists and healthcare staff regarding imaging results and patient status.
Follow infection control protocols and isolation precautions.
Float to other units within competency if required.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of MRI Technologist experience.
ARRT certification (MRI specialty required).
BLS certification.
Active state license required (must be in hand at submission).
Minimum 1 year of Epic charting experience.
Required Clinical Skills
Experience working with adult acute care and outpatient populations across all age groups (neonate through geriatric).
MRI imaging experience including:
Chest
Abdomen and Pelvis (with and without contrast)
Head imaging
Musculoskeletal trauma imaging
Spine imaging (cervical thoracic lumbar)
Experience with contrast preparation and administration.
Ability to start peripheral IVs.
Familiarity with MRI equipment from major vendors and PACS systems.
